Need some info from the masses that I cannot seem to find on the net (or at least not without hours and hours of searching). ; Does anyone know if there are any Advanced Point and Shoot Digital Cameras (similar to the DSC-H50 I have right now) that accept lens filters without having to use an adapter (like the DSC-H50). ; I am thinking it would be so much easier to attach a filter to the lens itself rather than having to carry around the bulky adapter. ; The other reason is cost. ; With the DSC-H50 I am having to use a 72mm adapter when the lens itself is more like a 30 something mm and the cost of some of the 72mm specialty filters are twice as much as the smaller counterparts. ; Any info is appreciated.

I think the only one left is the Fuji Finepix S200EXR. ; Sony, Canon, Olympus, KonicaMinolta used to make ones with an SLR-sized lens that could take filters without an adapter. ; But most have gone away....

my G-10 requires a screw-in barrel to accept filters. ; what roger said.

I took a quick look online at that one (BTW, what is the difference between the S200 and the S205?) and it looks like it has an Adapter Attachment on the front end of the Lens. ; I am going to have to head to a local camera store to take a closer look at it. ; Other than that, the S200EXR looks like an excellent upgrade in regards to increased ISO, f-Stop, Shutter Speed, etc...

I think for various reasons they have to make slight changes in the models for different countries, so it seems like they are basically exactly the same.

I don't think the S205 is available in the U.S.
