Time to add a thread where you can post any and all shots you have from the Pandora section of Animal Kingdom. We'll start a new thread for the rides/attractions themselves, so keep this one to the general scenery, stores, facilities, and grounds of Pandora.

I have a huge caveat here, for my first photos to share from Pandora. All of the following shots are NOT by bestest greatest shots evAr...they are only my first shots. I was there in mid-June. It was very hot. It was stupidly crowded. It was raining much of the day. There was no way I was lugging my finest lenses, setting up tripods, and taking my time to get lovely shots - I was strictly handheld, and trying to find any breathing room within the huge crowds to get a few initial shots. I generally don't do tripod shots in summer - too hot to stand there doing long exposures. So with that said, here are some of my first shots from the land of Pandora:

Good stuff Justin! I know the feeling about the tripod in summer. I don't expect to bring mine in at all next month. Just casual shooting and same the tripod for December.

Dreading shooting here at night. Will be bringing a tripod later this week. Wish me luck!

Meanwhile, here's one from yesterday. Put people in the shot for scale (not that you can avoid them!).

Had my most success with mixed lighted areas in Pandora. Disney sure made the most of a small area with little trails and spaces everywhere.

Interesting on the drum show - haven't caught that one yet.

Got my first real daytime walkaround of the park a few weeks ago:

The ride is visually stunning and very, very short. Would not do it unless I had a FastPass which we did for this trip.

After riding Flight of Passage, many people wanted to bring home a banshee. Disney has got to be making a small fortune with these as I watched a dozen fly out of the store in less than 15 minutes.

I was thrilled that at 9:10 am they DID serve beer! It is HOT in July, and I needed some cool refreshment.

Where's the people? My Mickey ears off to the Disney Imagineers for this view which overlooks Pandora yet hides the people filling it.

This show was high energy and fun, just not so much in the July sunshine. I will take the time to watch it again next month during Pixelmania when the temp is not so bad!
