    * The UK pavilion includes replicas of castles that belonged to King Henry VIII and Sir Walter Scott.

    * The color red, used extensively in the China pavailion symbolizes happiness to the Chinese while Gold represents royalty. The Dragon and Phoenix symbols represent the Emperor and Empress.

    * Almost 100 different shades of red were sampled before Disney Imagineers chose the color of the red planet in front of 'Mission Space.'

    * The elaborate 134 foot long mural at the entrance to the Land pavilion is made up of over 150,000 individual tiles. It represents the layers of the Earths rich soil with colorful pieces made from glass, slate, granite, gold and marble. The two sides of the mural are exactly alike except for one emerald green tile on the right hand mural placed there by the artist.

    * 'Spaceship Earth' is actually two spheres. The outer sphere is about two feet away from the inner sphere which houses the attraction. 'Spaceship Earth' is 165 feet in diameter and could fit completely inside the tank in the 'Living Seas' which is 203 feet in diameter.

    * The coral in the 'Living Seas' tank is actually man made. If it were real it would have taken over 100 years to grow to that size.

    * One inch of water siphoned off the top of the 'Living Seas' tank would fill a regular size swimming pool. Thats about 20,000 gallons! The 'Living Seas' tank holds nearly 5,700,000 gallons.

    * The pygramid that makes up the Mexico pavilion was inspired by the first to third century Mesoamerican pyramids in Teotihuacan Mexico including the Temple of Quetzalcoatl (the Feathered Serpent).
