The boat always seems to stop here, so I take a photo every time.
How much is that dolly in the window?
Norway has cultural exhibits in the Stave Church. Most people don't know that. Fortunately, like the cultural exhibits in Morocco and Japan, the exhibit doesn't change very often. So if you haven't seen this exhibit on Norse gods, you still have time to visit. Then you'll be able to understand the Marvel Thor movies a little better.
A Norse god with a crooked smile? That has to be Loki.
Third in this series of the top four Viking gods is Freya. There's a lot more about all of them on my Flickr post. Click the photo to read about them.
The Greatest Goddess
Rounding out the quartet of Norse gods on display is the head guy, the Allfather, Odin.
This was an interesting ride. When the boat arrived at the the big Let It Go scene, instead of moving sideways then backwards, we just sat there for several minutes. If you want to find out what happened next, check back next week.
Here's what happened next: Elsa finished the song (this is the big finale), sung it again, then stopped. Next week, we'll meet B-mode Elsa.
Thank You! Thank You!
At some point in the middle of Let It Go, Elsa glitched. I assume she was swithing to the B-mode program. After the song, she stood quietly, looking around at all of the places where a boat could be sitting if the ride was paused.
In the final phase of Elsa's "nothing happening right now" subprogram, she looks around and occasionally gives a little wave to the poor people stuck in front of her. "Sorry you're stuck here, folks. The troll out front should have warned you."
