Man billed thousands for roaming

Erik Lyneborg is angry after receiving a phone bill for thousands of dollars.

Lyneborg recently returned from a trip to Mexico.

He used his Apple iPhone for about four hours during his vacation to keep in touch with clients back in Canada.

 

That's why I bought the TracFone for us in the US! ; It's ridiculous what they charge us!

Even receiving a Text Message from Canada, they zing you!

Even that message that Rogers sends you to "welcome to the USA!" ;

 

We got a Virgin pay as you go last August in DTD for $12.95. ; Best purchase I ever made. ; It has saved me a ton of dough!

 

We did the same. ; Ordered the phones from the Virgin site and had them shipped right to the resort.

 

I've said it before I hate Rogers. I bought a Net10 phone $20 includes 300 hours voice and text good for 60 days.
