When 64GB isn't enough...Lexar announces first 256GB CF card

    Well, with the new 30+mp FF cameras coming out soon (the D800 is dropping next month, and perhaps something from Sony....) of course you'll need these!

    I remember when it was awesome to have a 1GB Microdrive! ; It beat using a 256MB CF card!

    good lord! ; talk about putting all of your eggs in one basket, although you could cover pretty much your entire year on one card. ; i would PRAY that a card that big didn't crash or get lost. ;

    Probably costs as much as the camera it goes into.

    Have to see how many$ I am eagerly waiting for a solid state external drive to use for travel, this with a small usb plug reader would be very small footprint in a carryon
