To heck with two tickets.. I want that 300mm F2.8 IS that they show on the first page! If I could get the retail value of the prize in cash I could pick up my dream lens, the 600mm F4.
I don't care about the super bowl this year. I would have gone last year if I could have but my team got humiliated so I wouldn't have enjoyed it anyway.
What about the 800/5.6? Isn't that good enough for you? (once it makes it through FDA and EU clearances)
I'm guessing that that's going to start entering the realm of limited practicality. I wouldn't turn it down if someone offered to give me one... ya'know, if Canon needed a field test.. I'd have to go find new subjects though, I think 800 (x1.6) would be too much for any of my usual zoo animal subjects. I'd have to move on to actual wildlife. What a concept, I know.
