Been to Flights of Wonder? Post your photos here.
You can also post photos from UP! A Great Bird Adventure, Feathered Friends in Flight and whatever else they may decide to call the show in the future.

Here's my post for Superb Owl Sunday:

If you arrive at Flights of Wonder before the show, you get a close-up look at one (or more) of their birds. This is Carly with what appears to be a great horned owl. (I arrived a little late to hear all the details.)

They really are huge birds when you see them next to people:

You know I hadn't done this show since we did it for Pixelmania 2014 or so...when there a few weeks ago, I decided to stop back in and try some bird-in-flight shooting. Of course, I picked a perfect time - quarter to 5pm, heavily overcast skies, sun not hitting most of the seating area (good for your eyes, not so good for photographing birds flying over the crowd!). Anyway, it was still fun, even if I had to crank the ISO a bit and deal with low contrast.

Here's the eagle owl heading out of the window:

The show had already for the day, but here's the new (in 2018) sign for the historical record.

This is a southern ground hornbill. Be careful, it attacks cameras. Especially the big orange ones carried by small postmen.

Miles is a trumpeter hornbill and is personally responsible for keeping central Florida free of flying grapes.

Head up! No, heads down! It's a West African Crowned Crane making a low pass over the audience.

This is Victora, and African fish eagle. I guess her fins only emerge when she's under water.
