This is the thread where you can post all of your photos of the Rivers of Light water/light/fire/boat show in the Asia section of Animal Kingdom!

Yep - Justin has more caveats for his photos, just as he did in the Pandora thread. It was hot and humid and I only had an F3.5 max aperture kit lens for these shots...plus all handheld, no tripod. So while not the world's best stuff, and all high ISO as needed for those situations, these are at least my first shots of this show, and my first time having seen it. I actually liked the show, too - no glitches or issues on our night as I've heard some reports of in the past.

Finally getting around to photos from 2018, and the only time I saw Rivers of Light.

This is Shaman Aditya, one of the characters in Rivers of LIght. At the time, I thought the show was similar to a Cirque du Soleil production: Characters wandering through the audience before the show, strange but interesting music during the show, and a plot that is known only to the creators.

i kind of liked it, once i realized that all of dennis's points are correct, just go with the color and music, plot may or ,may not be there, just like cirque. and it sure was better than that lame kite show. disney imagineers should die of fatal shame to even be associated with that abomination of creativity.

Researching this show revealed a lot of backstory. It that had been shared with the viewers, the show might have lasted a few weeks longer.

that show was all right once you watched a couple of times, i wouldn't waste a fast pass on it or do a dining package, but it wasn't bad

You can just hear acolyte Ketu grumbling "When the job description said light work I though that meant there would be no heavy lifting."

I hope they didn't just throw these costumes in the dumpster.
