A Day on Bald Mountain

Bald Mountain near Old Forge, New York that is. Not the best day and just past peak colors but it was warm and dry in mid-October.

Another view as I ascended towards the summit of Bald Mountain. This one had an interesting conifer. Not sure if it was dying, dead or a strange variety of tamarack.

And one more. Cold, rain and wind over the last few days have started to strip the trees so these are my only photos from this autumn. So, you get to the top of Bald Mountain and there is still more climbing to do...though not for me. Too cold and windy up there. Next time!
