Awesome shot Roger. Those fireworks look sort of like Illuminations rather than and MK fireworks show. I like how they frame the castle.

Thanks y'all!

Here's some more. I can't FTP from the room and I don't want to process too many before giving Aperture a whirl.

I'm still in a holding pattern. I didn't see this posting until the last day of my trip.

"Starting on February 1, 2008, Canon USA began informing key photographers and key organizations using the EOS-1D Mark III that engineers at Canon in Japan have developed a new fix for the camera's autofocus, a fix that's in addition to the change in the sub-mirror mechanism and firmware updates introduced in 2007."

So I'll give them a chance. There was a few I noticed from Enchanted Adventures that shouldn't have been a problem for AI Servo, but apparently were. Others I thought were soft but I forgot I have to boost the contrast with the DO lens. I still have a large # to go through.

Here's the photos I took during the show, standing next to Roger.
The last I included, because I like the castle lit up with non-colored lights too, the only way it used to be lit up. It's always lit up this way for a few seconds after every fireworks show.

If Roger was photographing the fireworks as well it would be interesting to look at them together and see the differences in settings and the way you shot the fireworks.

Finished. I'll have to pace them out.
