Last month when we were on the porch, this little guy was hanging out in one of the palms. So I put on the 80-400 to get some photos. Well, I started out across the yard, but this guy let me get closer than the lens could focus. I got to about 6 feet from him, and he never got very nervous.
Finally, after about an hour, he flew away. We watched him fly two doors down and fly onto the porch!
