Alright, I have finally joined the ranks of the Droid nation! ; I was wondering what apps are good to have, from those that are already members. ; Thanks for the input. ; In case anyone was wondering, I got the Droid Incredible. ;

i also use pdanet to tether my phone to my laptop. ; a bit pricey at close to $20 but well worth it for me.
handsent sms for texting is a must
google voice for voice mail is a must
tweetdeck for twitter

With the pdanet, are there any other fees or is it a one time thing? ; My voice mail app that I used on my blackberry, YouMail is available and works well, what is it about the Google one that you like?

google was easier than youmail to set up plus i like having everything under one login.
pdanet is a one time purchase. ; no fees.
