Hi folks - I'm back from the Travel Counsellors' annual conference in Manchester, UK; with a side trip to Wales. ; Had a fantastic time. ; I was thrilled to have received the Top Travel Counsellor in Canada award at conference. ; What a wonderful feeling of being a rock-star for a few minutes - flashing lights, pumping music, thunderous applause. ; Terrific! ; Met so many great travel counsellors from around the world. ; Inspired and motivated to begin a terrific year two!

white carpet - now that's a positive way to look at it! ; Sadly, I'll have to leave Ottawa to see green fields again for the next several months (Wales was green, green, green!).
