yesterday was better with the lousy weather. we watched a tern defend it's hunting territory against other terns. any time another tern showed up it went nuts and chased it off

My tern...taken with the Nikon D700 and 28-300VR lens. ; Needed the AF-S speed as the 80-400VR was too slow for these fast little birds.
