Boy, talk about your over-the-top, gaudy colors! I sacrificed my usual mediocre shooting score and took a few pictures on this particular ride through.
nice shot, scott. i have never been able to get anythat that wide angle with my primes on the 20d but i sure plan on it this trip with the 5d. i dont even play along on this ride. i let the wife do all the shooting and i take photos. tough ride to get good pics on. definitely on my 'to do' list.
I have a question... Well a couple... From what I have seen on these GREAT pictures I would love to learn how to capture them.
1) How do you get the "ghost" effect of the people walking by, or things moving in the photo? I thought that it was great the way you could make out the stationary objects and the ones that were moving looked ghost like.
2) How do you get those brilliant colors in such dark shots? Do you put your cameras on manual modes? If so, what apriture settings would you use for a night time or indoor shot like the zurg photo?
