get the 7d, you'll find a real upgrade in equipment there, and i forgot the microadjust, worth every penny, but you need to get the lensalign tool, that's worth the cost, and yes you should adjust for all your lenses, i found a fairly strong back focus in my 50mm f1.2 L, yeah that's right an L lens out of true, set the microadjust, now it's dead b***s on. yeah it's an industry term. the combo of the better af, and the adjustment should really reduce your focus errors, plus the 7d coupled with modern usm lenses should be lightning fast focus, like i said before, many pros over on fm have gone to the 7d when they get a sports assignment. and if you do get it, now consider holding it for a few years and going to L glass, the best glass available for any system is always a good choice. the 24-105, followed by the 35 f 1.4, then the 135 f2, plus the 1.4 tc would make a pretty powerful all around sports and travel set
