18mp (same as the others)
9 AF points, all cross type

Option to create smaller JPGs in camera while leaving the original size intact. ;I'm guessing that if you get the wireless grip, at one point soon, there will be an upload to YouTube and Facebook option based on the language in the press release. ; Correction: ; There is no wireless grip option planned for this camera according to Chuck Westfall via Rob Galbraith. ; Which makes NO sense if you are creating media sizes for social networking.....
Also, new artsy filters:
The Soft Focus effect filter helps dramatize an image and smooth over shiny reflections.
The Grainy Black and White filter can give a different nostalgic perspective to any shot.
Canon's "Toy Camera" filter deliberately adds vignetting and color shift for a creative option when shooting a colorful scene.
Users can also make a scene appear like a small-scale model, simulating the look from a tilt-shift lens, with Canon's Miniature Effect filter, great when shooting any scene from a high vantage point.
I think the biggest surprise is the move away from CF - while the new consumer standard is SD, the speeds of the cards are no where close to CF.
