Taken with the Tokina 11-16dx.
This is 1/6 sec at f2.8 iso 1600.
No VR needed with this lens!

You can see stars in the sky, the new landscaping added to the front of the resort, and in the background, the bridge to the new building.

Craig,

Great work! I think the best wide angle shots are those that have something of interest in the fore, middle, and background (I tend to agree with others when they say wide angles are NOT for 'getting it all in'). Truly, a very nice frame!

Is the glow in the lower right the sunset?

Cheers,

Mark

Thanks guys!
That's not the sunset. way too late at night for that, plus, from where I was standing, the sun was setting far too my right.
I have to guess that it is light from another parking lot, or another part of WDW.
I have some night shots from AKLodge where the sky is glowing like it is on fire, and a cast member told us that it was AK lighting.

I thought with the moon being that high in the sky that the sun was an unlikely subject - you never know - Disney Magic and all... ;)

Must be either WL or Epcot giving off that glow!

;D

Craig this is a brilliant shot! I am right along with Roger, but I didn't get blown away, just hurt the chin on the desk. ;)

thanks Poly!
I'm amazed by the feedback. all I did was point the camera at the hotel.
Thanks!

tim, do the right thing and hook him up with a 16x20, this needs to be on the wall of his living room

Craig,

I've seen the other 16x20 prints you like to adorn your walls with and this is definitely worthy of hanging amongst them if not becoming the new, higher bar to exceed

WOW! :o That is a great shot! Couldn't have worked out any better with the way the clouds sort of frame the moon too. Just beautiful!!
