Since I've been trying to get back through and upload some of my digital pics from before December 2006 (where my current gallery basically starts from), I've been finding some cool shots that I like and forgot about for a while.
This was from the beginning of 2006, in January. I had come into Epcot in the early evening having just arrived at Boardwalk and checked in...we decided to go eat at Italy that night. When we were walking around the Boardwalk, it was a lovely sunset...blues and some clouds, pretty enough to make me want to snap a shot:
By the time we were coming through Int'l Gateway, the sunset skies were getting fiercely red...the glow was amazing. We were walking through the tree cover and I noticed some red glow coming through the branches, but couldn't really see the sky and what it looked like...until I hit the bridge from UK to France, and caught the view to the west. It was one of those WOW! skies. I hadn't even unpacked my bigger camera when we checked in, but I definitely felt like my habit of always bringing a compact camera with me everywhere I go had just been validated and justified 100%! I had my tiny little 4MP Sony L1 with me, and managed a few shots of the stunning scene:
Just thought I'd share some beautiful skies from the archives!
