for the best combination on the market right now, rather than getting the BC900 (which includes crappy batteries). The faster charge of the BC900 might be tempting, but it actually does a disservice to the battery life.

FWIW, it is believed by many that the Sony batteries are rebranded eneloops. In any case, they are an excellent product.

Costco sells a pack of enelop's that comes with 8 AA and 4 AAA, plus adapters. You insert the AA into the adapter and can use it as a C or even D cell battery. The whole set is like $29. and well worth it. We use them for our Wii-mote's and my son's flashlight. They last forever and recharge quickly.
