Did you know...Wendy really CAN fly!?

While snapping the characters in the parade last week with my ultra-compact (it was a rainy day, and I didn't want to bring the bigger cam), I never quite realized this until I loaded them on my computer...Wendy is flying!

Clean off the ground, feet floating a few inches above the float. I guess there really is pixie dust, and if you think good thoughts, you just might be able to fly like Peter as well!

Its amazing how Disney can hide the post she's sitting on in plain sight, and you'd never see it in the parade because the floats are so busy and detailed that you just don't notice it.

Good photo. I'm assuming you caught her in mid jump on the way back down. If thats the case, these parade performers really really work hard. Just like Rogers post of peter pan

That was my assumption...though I honestly wasn't attempting to shoot her jumping or anything. Because I was shooting with my little ultra-compact, I was paying more attention to lining up the shot on the LCD, and not to what she was doing...so when I saw her waving in my direction, I snapped.

I didn't find out about her 'floating' antics until I loaded the shots. They do sometimes jump or hop during the song...so my best guess is that I must have caught her in her jump.

But it's more fun to think she's flying, as Peter taught her to do!!
