Nice. For some reason, I almost never shoot any of the daytime parades. I'm going to have to make an effort to start doing so.

I am just going to have to try and see these parades more often just to shoot the cast members. ; They provide such a great opportunity for candid photos.
 
Thanks guys for the compliments ; :-[ ... Perhaps for next year we can do a parade meet or two :). The cast members really do bring their own energy into the parks that is infectious.
 
Nice work Jason! ; I usually don't bother with the daytime parades either, but after seeing these, I think a parade meet or two next year might be a good idea.
 
especially with a december time slot, it's probably not going to be too hot to do a 3pm parade. the years we do october on the other hand, i'm reserving my 2-5 slot for the pool, preferably stormalong bay
 
+1 on the idea of parade meets. ; If the next Pixelmania is a December meet, the Jingle Jungle Parade at Animal Kingdom is fun. The only time I saw an AK parade we were stuck back by Tusker House for the 3:45 show. The shadows were impossible there so we would need to scout a good location. Hmmm... ; Is it already time to start a Pixelmania 2012 discussion thread???

The once nice thing about shooting the parade from Tusker House is that if you wait long enough you can shoot both sides of the parade as it returns to from where it starts. ; And, they turn right there on the way back so you can shoot the fronts of the parade vehicles as well.
