DTown TV: Got a New Nikon dSLR, what settings should I change

I just watched this episode of DTown TV (an online show with Scott Kelby) and he and Matt Kloskowski discuss what settings the change when they buy a new Nikon dSLR. ; I found that many of the settings were still set to factory settings for my D300. ; The logic behind changing them made sense so I made the changes on my camera.

As a side note, D-Town isn't focusing on Nikon products this season like they did in the past, making it a better resource for all photographers.
