Even more Sandisk rebates/sales coming! (new CF cards)

I'll let Rob G do most of the reporting on this one - he's already tested the new cards, and one of the new ones makes the Ducati Extreme look like a moped.

Basically: ; Extreme III and IV are GONE.

They're now: ; Extreme and Extreme Pro, with new higher speeds - that you'll mainly see between the card and the computer, not in the camera - unless you've got a UDMA camera and shooting lots of RAW.

The Extreme Pro is quoting speeds double the old Extreme IV.

BTW: Sandisk finally got back to me - they shipped a new retail box of my FW card reader as a replacement

Those are some impressive speeds... ; I guess that Lexar will be coming out with a new series of cards soon as well. ; I can't wait to see the sale prices on the current series of cards. ;
