I know I've been a broken record from the time Nikon announced this (and may soon replace) a couple of years back but today my wait is over as I took possession of a slightly used (~5K clicks) Nikon D700 digital SLR camera. ; I bought the MB-D10 battery grip about a month ago.

Will take it out for a shake down tomorrow. Now, you know why I was interested in Nikon bringing out the 28-300VR for FX next week. ; :D

I'm back from the trip, but I am having a hard time getting caught up with work, etc. ; Still haven't touched my images from the trip yet, only a backup. ;

Jeff, sadly I will not be at Pixelmania this year. ; I will be coming down before in October. ; Would like to meet up when I do.
