Canadian are bigger. BTW those eagles are not there anymore. I guess they decided to build a more secure nest away from people and the elements. Also found out from a biologist that there was only 1 case of a successful eagles nest on an osprey platform and when the ospreys show up in the spring if there are eagles on a platform they want to use they chase them out
 
So the ospreys win out in the end? ; Nice shots! ; Those poor ducks look pretty cold, but seeing as I am cold too that is not a surprise.
 
yes John. the ospreys will harass them till they leave. They can be tenacious and they have a wing span up to 6ft so they are the size of a smallish bald eagle
 
eagles can get about 6 inches longer in length and wingspan up to 7.5 ft so they are bigger than ospreys but even ravens have been knows to chase off eagles and steal there food
