We are DVC members, but did travel to Disney World for over 18 years before we finally bought DVC. ; Well worth it, but we did buy resale as it is less cash up front, and you can buy in at a lower point value, so it's a good way to start (love it, we don't have enought points and now I'm shopping for more!) ; It does give you a lot of flexibility with your vacation. ; Sometimes I just need a studio for myself and my husband, sometimes the 'kids' (22 and 24 now) are with us and we'll move to something larger... we just spent a vacation with my in-laws at AKL Kidani and booked a 2 bedroom, so we can book whatever is needed, and you can bank and borrow points to allow for the vacations requiring more points. ; Also, very very nice resorts which I could not afford to pay cash and stay for one week. ; These points will also go to our children (they are on the deed) when we can no longer use them. ; My only regret is that we did not buy sooner ; ;D
