is this an actual drink in ireland? a made up for mousefest drink? a drink for girlie men?
can anyone here shed some light on this subject?
ie, cobb salad, made famous by the owner of the original brown derby, made up of refridgerator leftovers late one night after kitchen had closed, so loved by those present it became a menu item, and then famous

so come forth any with the shandy knowledge

ROFL!!! It has been a summer drink in the UK for as long as I have known!!! Not for a serious drinker, of course - but at least it has the beer taste! ;D

So this is what Nathan is always talking about. I have to admit that I was always wondering what it was exactly and never even thought to look it up. I am glad that someone did.

I think I will stick to any Hefeweizen/ wheat beer. (my preferred beer)
If its a hot day, throw in an orange slice.
