Honey, I Shrunk into Captain EO! (@ Epcot)

Now the question is ... what will be replacing it at Epcot. ; WDW already has MILF.
Maybe they'll expand Journey Into Imagination into that space and bring back the DreamFinder (also a rumor floating around that he'll return)

If they do so, it almost seems like it'll be to get the "Dreamfinder guy"[nb]You have to admit, it's gotta be interesting when the CEO remembers someone from an annual meeting a few years prior.[/nb] off their backs.

At the same time Bob Iger did sound like WDI didn't have any viable ideas for an attraction to use Dreamfinder. ; Then again, maybe one of those Marvel guys/gals thought of something that would allow for him to return. (and add an unused Marvel character to WDW)

I am so so on this. ; I mean, it's not like they can do anything more to this movie then digitize it, so what is going to be new and interesting. ; Sure there are a lot that haven't seen it, but I would rather see something new and mind blowing in this spot. ; Oh well, I guess we'll just have to see how it goes. ; I do like the Marvel idea though.

All they would have to do is take over the "Honeycomb" building since it is not being used anyway. ; And there should be no problem pulling in a Marvel character into futureworld. ; To start, they could put Kazaar into Universe of Energy's Prehistoric times (you could also add Sauron in the Pteradactyl scene).

I really hope they do something else with the theater after EO leaves instead of putting Honey, I Shrunk the Audience back in. I have seen that show once, didn't really do anything for me, and haven't been back since. I would love to see a new 3D show go into that theater. I mean we've seen that Disney can still pull off a great 3D attraction in Philharmagic. I also agree that Dreamfinder needs to come back so he can balance out Figment again. Figment is one of my favorite characters but seems a bit out of place without Dreamfinder. I've heard that Bob Iger says that he's "creepy and awkward". That, to me, says that if Iger has anything to do with it, no more Dreamfinder. But at the same time we can't make light of the tremendous voice that we as the Disney fan community have. I think they listen a whole lot more than we notice, there's just so much going on that not a whole lot gets done. Anyway, those are my feelings on the subject. Go Captain EO! ; ;D

Now that would be awesome.

Captain EO does nothing to excite me, philosophical differences with Michael Jackson aside.

I gotta admit it I'm going to see eo at least once. ; I never really liked it but the nostalgic in me can't wait

I agree. ; I wasn't all that impressed the first time around, but if it's still showing in the fall, I'll go see it. ; Once.

Captain EO debuted a few months after we went to Walt Disney World as a family vacation and I didn't go back until 1995 and it was long gone. ; So, this will probably be my only opportunity to see it other than on You Tube

I probably saw it when it was there, but I don't remember it which means I must not have thought it was that good. ; I might go see it once. ; Maybe.

I have only seen it on video, so hopefully get the chance to see it in person in December. ; Prior to me starting to come down in 2006 my previous trip was to a WDW that only had one park (late 70's early 80s). ; So while seeing that it is a very cheesy movie, I will still see it at least once if it is there.

I definitely think it will be worth it to see once for nostalgic sake. I probably won't even get to see it unless it's still showing next April. Why does it seem so far away when I say it. Oh yeah, because it is. ; :)

Looking forward to seeing this when we are in DL this Summer. ; We skipped it when we had the opportunity at WDW, always regretted that. ;

It just hit me the other day, what they need to replace Captain EO with is an Imagination Movers pavilion. ; What better thing to put into the Imagination Pavilion than that. ; They could even try and replicate the Imagination Mover Warehouse with all the fun rooms. ;

Then they could have "movers" there playing hits from the soundtrack

It was time for a change, but not this one. Anything would have been better than EO again.

I'm not a huge Honey, I Shrunk the Audience fan, but I was hoping to see it one more time when we went next month. But now, it's already closed for the switch.

The one thing I really liked about Honey... was how it hid the fact that you are watching a movie. Unlike Muppets or even Philharmagic, there are no scene changes and everything seems like you are in the audience watching a show.

I thought EO was dated the last time I saw it. I'll probably see it once, but am certainly not excited about the change.

Just saw Captain EO at Disneyland.

Pretty cool. ; It was well worth the visit. ; Looking forward to seeing it at Disney World.

Did you like the slight change they made to the show room? ; (They added the shaking floor from HISTA to the effects to kind of make up for not reinstalling the lasers)
