i-Device Remote Control of dSLR Camera

That is pretty cool, yet I think I would be more well suited spending my money on other equipment right now.
 
Seems pretty cool. ; But at this point, I don't see a benefit from my cable release until I can use it to adjust settings and preview pics. ; For a person as short as me, if I could have those features, I would have a much easier time with nighttime tripod photography since I cannot see through the view finder to change the settings
 
If you read the review, the maker is saying they will be adding those features in the future, Ray. ; This is on my Buy list but not right away. ; Maybe by Pixelmania. ; :)

No, it does begin with a "C". ; Which is interesting in a way.

Nikon has an outside company developing their RAW software. ; Canon does not. ; Sony, well, Sony needs to use an outside company. ; Same with Oly. ; The rumor is Canon is working with Apple with either the next version of Aperture or Final Cut Pro. Or it could be something else altogether, like sensors for the iPhone 5 camera or something.

The mirrorless thing was inevitable since it's making other companies too much money to pass up. ; The trick is getting the registration distance right so you can mount and use AF lenses from their mirrored cousins.
