Just got my new tripod delivered today - a Velbon Ultra Luxi F. What a cool piece of equipment. Looks perfect for what I need - small and compact (with it's own travel bag) ... but it's solid as a rock and (amazingly) on full extension gets the camera at my exact eye level (which most tripods don't do, as I'm 6'3")

Thanks for the recommendation, Tim - I think it's going to work fine for what I need it for.
