Illuminations from Japan - Sitting on the job.

For my first post here I'd like to share a couple of shots I took of the March 19th Illuminations show.

I was sitting on the bench outside Mitsukoshi and was trying to frame a shot with my Tokina 11-16. ; Things weren't working out too well when I thought I could fill out the frame with my other Nikon zoom at about 28mm. ; So I switched lenses and framed the shot. ; These were taken with a 0.9 ND filter at f/14 and at ISO 100.

This was the first time I shot Disney fireworks while sitting down. :)

Welcome aboard Allen! ; Great color in both shots. ; I shot from their last summer, with not so great results, gonna give it a try this summer again.
 
Very nice shots - great color and also some foreground interest. ; I'd not have thought to shoot from that location - I've seen a few done from the upstairs balcony, but that looks like a very nice location.
