not a scientific test at all but wanted to compare the tamron 200-500 against the behemoth nikon 600 f4 lens. I was about 20 ft closer when shooting the tamron otherwise no cropping or sharpening done to either pic. I think the tamron did quite well against the $ 11,000 monster

Did the Sun go behind the clouds between shots? ; Wondering what the reason was for the color shift between the two. ; Any chance I might get a look through that 600mm?
 
fixed it.there was some time between the shots and angle
it is a shooting friends lens.I invited him to join us so if her does I am sure he would let you try it out
