I think that it's nice. ; I love this area in Japan, and it is always so serene. ; I feel as though you captured that. ; Thanks for posting!
 
Believe it or not, no polarizer. I'm surprised about the lack of glare too. It was a partly cloudy day and I think I caught some shade just right.

No real PP either. Just a little bit of bump on the exposure and some sharpening in Aperture.

You mentioned you touched up the photo within Aperture. ; Just curious, do you find advantages to using Aperture over Photoshop? ; I've been using Photoshop for a few years and downloaded a trial of Aperture, but never had a chance to install it.

I'm using both Aperture and Lightroom right now. I'm trying to figure out which one I like better. Lightroom honestly has a better workflow than Aperture does and it has the advantage of years of Photoshop behind it. I'm still giving Aperture a chance though.

I have the Adobe Web Premium suite which doesn't include Lightroom. ; I've been using iPhoto as an organizational tool and Photoshop for editing. ;

I've been curious about Lightroom for awhile and am downloading a trial now. ;

i tried the trial download of lightroom right after mousefest 08, liked it so much i've since purchased the full version and it's where i do all my organizing and 95% of my editing, it really helps a lot if you have scott kelby's book, he has a great way of making it all come together in a good workflow
 
Very true Gary. In fact I would say one of the biggest advantages of Lightroom (or anything Photoshop) is the incredible amount of literature and web info you can find. I have Scott Kelby's Lightroom 2 book and it is very good.
