curated by jeff Leatham, this is the second time he has curated the nybg orchid show, i went sunday morning, all photos taken with sony A1, sony 90mm f2.8 macro lens, and nissen mf18 ring flash. the flash was dialed down to it's lowest setting, no need to overpower the subject. i started with f4 but went to f5.6 6, the depth of field was too shallow for my taste





i might go back this weekend and do it over at f8

here i have gotten sharper, i am so woefully out of practice at my macro skillset right now, i need to go back and take another run at this

back to back shots, i need to get my concentration back, bugs are coming soon, and the rose garden blooms in june, and nybg has got a fine rose garden

i tried to take photos of the information plates, this helps me know what i am looking at, me being not knowledgable about orchids, at least not more than, ooh me like pretty flower
