I think the lens is more important, as it bridges a gap in the existing lineup for Olympus. Previously you could go as wide as either 14mm OR 22mm, nothing in between. This one is equiv. to a 18-36mm lens, i.e the Tokina 12-24 on a Nikon/Sony APS-C. And it's almost 1/3 the price of the existing Olympus 14mm equiv lens (7-14mm f/4) (price according to their press release). Sigma offers a 10-20mm lens at basically the same price, but that would be a 20-40mm lens. And I think that lens is still waiting to be actually released to the public.
