i had to go over to shelter island last night for a class, so i went a little early and took the camera of course, never expecting to find this pair, setting up housekeeping not 500 feet down the beach from the south ferry terminal, all i had was the 70-300 for reach, and no heavy tripod so these are all hand held in a stiff breeze, i will be going back within a few days with the 500mm and wimberly head, i know i can do better, just wanted to post a taste
