neat effect, how is this done?

I'm thinking of two ways:

1) Photoshop Layers

2) Built-in multiple exposure mode - this was more prevalent during the Film Era, but I know Nikon still has it on their bodies. ; Haven't played with it yet though.

photoshop layers is much easier. ; make sure you use a tripod and the timer.
