PIXELMANIA 2013? - Vote

I think this was discussed to be one of the weekends in October (for MNSSHP)? ; So that any of us DVC members can book under the 11 month window and people could also buy an annual pass and have it cover 2k12 and 2k13 (depending on ticket price)

If I was able to go in October at all, it would likely only be at DW, old school style. ; Though October is often difficult for me, so I might not make it. ; I'd put a vote in for DW old school December, if that option was there! ; ;)
 
I'm planning on doing an extended Pixelmania trip this year and will be getting an AP and planning to take another trip before it expires, so October would fit that plan perfectly and gets my vote.

I'd love to visit DL with the group some day, but not next year.
 
There should be a DL trip between October and December.

*If* it is between mid-November and New Years, you'll get the special DL stuff:

Haunted Mansion Holiday (sometime after Labor Day, near end of September)
Small World Holiday
NOS at XMas
 
I like the idea of trying different venues, but at the moment, I have to say I need it to stay old skool! ; I would have to figure out how to get my family to DL first before I went with the group (gotta keep the wife happy ;)). ; As for the cruise, that would be awesome as well, but again I couldn't go on a cruise without the family, and with that said, it would need to be at a time that school allowed for a cruise to occur (not sure I could convince the wife to let me go on a cruise without her ;)).

If we did DL for PixelMania, I'd "vote" for it to be 2K14 or 2K15. ; I was planning on hitting DLR in January 14', but would defer it to winter/fall for PixelMania.

But going back to 2K13, the perfect weekend for me (to maximize vacation time) would be October 17th thru 20th. ; I'd just have to know (or guess the date) by mid-November when I am required to put in for Vacation.

If a group DL trip would be planned, it would be nice to announce it well (a year or preferably more) in advance to allow all interested parties to save up for the trip.

I work for UPS and anything other than work during the month of December is out of the question. ; October at WDW is my vote for sure!!!
 
Next year, no DL for me. ; In 2014 I move up to three weeks of vacation, so it would be a possibility then.

I will not rule out a future Pixelmania in Disneyland. ; As stated, it would be a fall/holiday times event to take advantage of the special holiday offerings. ;
 
Well, my plan is till to be down there for the last week of Sept/ first week of Oct time frame. ; Would love to meet everyone finally.

Just putting a small bump on this as a reminder. ; Ideally if we are still alternating Christmas and Halloween, the 11month DVC window would open in upcoming November.

My vote is still for the 17th-20th of October 2013, but only because I can squeeze an extra three days vacation out of it. ; But the following week would still workable.

It really just a matter of knowing far enough in advance so that I can both put in for vacation and book a DVC room (especially being during food & wine time)... ; I have MY preferred weekend, but that doesn't mean a thing if everyone else shows up a week later. "Pixelmania, party of one!" ; :P

I vote for Columbus day weekend or the one after, for those of us who get the day off.
 
I am not going to throw a vote out as I am not sure I will be able to swing next year. ; If I can do it, it be when ever it is.
