All wonderful shots. ; Would love to hear some of your shooting techniques, shutter, apeture settings, etc.

Thanks.

I think we all picked nearly the same Fireworks burst as our favorite. ; Her is my favorite shot of the night... (and I love my new ND filters..)

sitting here killing airport time via netbook ,so i have nothing ready yet, but it seems from everyone's results, that nd filters are the best fireworks hardware any of us brought to the party. we were all locked in next to each other along the railing, in a serious photographers row, and it was funny how many people stopped behind us to try to see what we were looking at, and how many lined up behind us right before the show, hey lookit those camera guys, they must know something's going on.

Focusing on the globe didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, so I'm going to have to try that again.

erich, those are pretty strong. ; it was awesome watching you shoot fireworks with a 300 f/2.8. ; just awesome.
gotta post that inferno barge pic too.

However, these made carrying that huge lens worth it. To quote Leeloo, "big bada boom!"
