Here's a spot to share your best animal (or plant) captures on either the Pangani Forest Trail or the Maharajah Jungle Trek at Animal Kingdom.

Here's a few of my selections to kick it off:

A very athletic gerenuk reaching for the leaves:

A meercat ball...apparently, they're not fond of the cold weather!:

One seriously evil large bird...the maribou stork (see the wee little black guy to his left...THAT'S a vulture, and you know how big those are!):

My buddies...the gorillas:

Gorgeous beast:

Just a really big kitty (that can kill you on a whim!):

The elusive and beautiful golden pheasant (didn't come out this time - had to use ISO3200 to catch him way deep under the tree!):

Add yours!

Great shots Justin. ; None of my golden pheasant shots came out. ; They are all a blurry mess. ; I'll be back later with my favs from these walks.

While not technically on the trails, had to include a shot of this guy; and thanks to Zeagle for the use of his 300mm lens (very sweet!!)

... a shot of the this character smacking his lips almost saying: "I'm gonna get me one of those TMIPers"

Great shots Paul! ; I have to go through and process mine to pump up the color on some of them, but I really like this last flower shot.

Thanks Tim.

I was trying to get some ideas from where folks were shooting and what they were shooting at the events.

If I ever get a good understanding of my camera's settings, I could be dangerous ;)

Great Shots! ; :) love all the cats and got to respect the flowers. No one loves the Rhino, though. So I figure that I will give em a shot.

Nice work Arny - spotting the details is definitely good thinking. ; Scott, excellent catch on the tiger! ; Zeagle...love the rhino myself, but this trip, he was in hiding when I rode the truck.

Great shots guys! ; My only rhino shots are of the rear of one and another lying down which isn't much to brag about. ; Love your though Zeagle. ; Arny, you are learning quickly, nice job! ; Scott, I love that Tiger shot.

giving a new meaning to a hairy back....
