Or how not to shoot the moon.

Meet up with John at the Ocean City Boardwalk on Tuesday, June 14, the night before the full moon. ; The idea was to photograph the moon as it rose over the beach. ; Well, the weather kept that from happening with solid cloud cover. ; John and I did our best with what was given.

Street sign a couple of blocks from the boardwalk.

It was pretty gloomy with some rain.

We decided to grab a slice of pizza while waiting for the moon and a break in the weather. Thanks again, John!

John spotted some color behind us and I whirled the camera around on the tripod.

Well, after a while, John called it a night having to drive over two hours to get home. ; Thanks for making the trip. ; I salvaged the night with a couple of blue hour photos.

You got some great shots with dismal weather! ; It was a good time anyway! ; Too bad that lid was attached to the garbage can!

We tried, John! ; Next time we'll get the moon and I'll bring a big reflector just in case. ; ;) ; Can not rely on garbage cans outside of Disney.
