Pre-Season College Basketball

The Syracuse University Orange Men's Basketball team played the Black Knights of the College of St. Rose out of Albany, NY. ; The Black Knights played SU to a 30-30 tie at half time because of their 3-point shooting. ; SU pulled ahead to win the game in the second half. ; Not big news but I did have seats at center court which were close enough to use the Nikon 70-200VR f/2.8 on my D700. Photos are cropped for composition.

Doc, I had to crop these about 50%. ; The seats are about 30 feet from the court. ;

Probably should have set the EV to +0.7. ; +0.3 was too dark. ; Auto-WB did very well here. I am hoping to be able to sit here again for a game. ; They are friend's seats who don't like to go to games during the week so early in the season.
 
Great shots Scott. ; As this is the only basketball I think people will be able to watch this year, I am sure that they are glad there is college ball to fall back on and fill the void.
