Taken with the Canon 20/2.8 - and the Cokin blue/yellow polarizer. Because of the wide angle, the filter actually didn't cover the full frame, so there was vignetting. Cropped out most of it, but the lower left hand corner is still (just can't notice b/c of the shadows)

nice photo and have you used any of your filters digital yet, i'm considering a cokin p setup and a couple good make nd filters,perhaps sing-ray,maybe the galen rowell model, for some bright sun/slow exposure time stream/river stuff, i like to ride on rail trails and since it's quite often mid morning to mid afternoon the harsh sunlight has me thinking filters
i'd be interested in your take on the use of the cokin p setup with digital, i'd get the pro setup which allows for the wide angles, needed if i'm to use my fav 17-40, a very good landscape lens i find
i may get it soon as i'm on the may dcl magic westbound panama, and the stops in aruba,acapulco,puerto vallarta, and cabo san lucas, all have the potential for some very strong harsh shadow/direct sunlight, and i'd want a little practice pre cruise

Gary, no I haven't used my Cokin P series in a long while. With that being said, I don't think the circular Cokin P system would work with anything wider than 24, maybe 28 with the 72mm mount. That's what gave me vignetting with the 20/2.8. But I also have a square grad. blue filter from Tiffen (great for adding blue skies to grey/brown SoCal....)

But I really liked the Cokin system when I was shooting film. Loved the yellow/blue polarizer. I'll post a yellow image next.

So I guess the Pro setup would work well. Maybe I should go try it again, see how it works with APS-H. Should be just enough to work.

Wait, I'm still without camera (not counting the 30D).

Apparently my camera's back in town (still no email that it was even received!), and FedEx only waited five seconds before leaving a hang tag yesterday, so hopefully it'll be signed for today at home.

Nice...I took a similar one @ four years ago before I really got into photography. It's not nearly as crisp as yours, but I was able to capture the fountain fish rising out of the water.
