Space Mountain

This unusual view of Space Mountain was inspired the day that I parked the mother-in-law's car at the Contemporary and ran across the street to the guardrail and snapped off a few frames. I always enjoyed this unusual view of Space Mountain...

That is very cool. I like the trees the way they are, but I wonder why Disney has "allowed" them to be that way. They must have a good reason, but it seems "un-Disney-like" for them to be blocking the view of the building. Maybe it helps reduce their air-conditioning costs.

Maybe they were left there as a visual "boundary" of the park. Just a thought, and the only answer that I have been able to come up with over the years.
