Take one shot of Spaceship Earth by day, mix in a little Spaceship Earth by night, add a touch of Photoshop and voila!

Nice merge! I'm just curious what you used for your blocking mark on the ground to get the shots from the same perspective ;)

i stood there ALL day to get that shot! ;)

acutally i used layers and transformations to get it to line up correctly. took some time but it worked out.

If I didn't know what you did, I was going to say:

Tim, you need to have your 5D looked at. The right side of the sensor is grossly underexposing.

A lot of the gimmicky tricks I don't like. But this I like. There's so much sense of emotion in this shot. It's like... Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Disney style. The boisterous day and the moody night.
