the B.A.H

When I first saw B.A.H on another Disney board it took me a while to figure out what it meant ; :D

Just because I carry a "big camera" people tend to thinK I know what I'm doing. But every once in a while I get lucky and get a shot like this

I think that's a nice perspective on the BAH. ; I would like to see that one with the sky a little earlier -- as in right around twilight.

What was your focal length on that shot?

it seems a bit underexposed. ; maybe like boris said, lighten it up a bit so the spotlights and other decorative aspects show thru a bit more.

Cool shot. ; I don't mind the night sky being dark - though the lighter skies look great too - sometimes a dark night sky has a great atmosphere. ; I agree though that it could be brought up a bit - simple adjustments to brighten it so you really see those spotlights in the sky.

I guess I should ask: is your monitor calibrated? ; Maybe you are seeing it much brighter than others are on their monitors...if you ever want to be sure, print a copy and see if it matches what you see on screen - if not, calibrate.

Here's what looks good on my monitor (note I was working off your original posted sample, so the quality isn't super-high after working on it and resaving it!), and what I was thinking:

The great news is that all the detail is there to work with!

fixed it!

I still like the shade of blue in the original better but you're right Tim, the details pop more in this on. ; Thanks guys!

By the way this was a shot rattled off after osborne lights so no twilight sky.
