tim, you forgot to mention the other basic pixelmania photo taking guidelines for getting these kinds of shots,
" sleep, it's overated, besides, it's pixelmania, i'll sleep on the plane"
except in my case it did not work out so good, my homeward flight got the airline switched, i was booked on southwest, but was bumped onto screaming baby airline, thankfully it's only 2hrs 20 min
