pardon me, sir, but where is the boardwalk?
 
While working the air show last week, we actually had someone ask us how to get to the ocean. ; I was really tempted to tell her to head west about 3,000 miles and she would be there, BUT I told her to walk over the sand dune that was in front of her, and she would be right there, instead.
 
while pointing at the Ocean they ask. What lake is that? also is that a real gun. is it loaded and one of my all time favorites while looking across the inlet from the boardwalk toward Brigantine and saying I didn't know you could see Europe from here. One asked another officer how many boards are in the boardwalk ?
but the best of all was the couple tugging on the rear doors of my patrol car yelling open the doors and I was like ??? and then when I saw the luggage it hit me. they thought I was a cab and yes I got the where is the boardwalk question while the man was standing in the middle of it. When I told him he was on it his response was Oh I get it I am on boards and I am walking. As that comedian said " here's your sign "
 
that is truly frightening. ; i wish i could say you made that story up. ; i can't.
 
Great photo. ; And those stories rank right up there with the ones I got at the 24 hr pharmacy. ; Sometimes it truly is a blank smile and a wave goodbye.

funny story... ; ofc. peabody recognized me as a "fellow lodge member". ; wonder if he might know anyone from the former adventurer's club quite well? ; maybe prof. otis t. wren? ;

OMG! I didn't recognize it until you mentioned it. ; Glad to see he was able to find work in law enforcement
